How Zebra Blinds Work
A zebra shade is one continuous piece of fabric with alternating sheer and opaque bands, looped over a roller. As you raise or lower it, the two layers slide relative to each other. Line the solid bands up with the sheer bands and light streams through; offset them and the solid bands overlap for privacy. Roll it all the way up and the window is clear.
